Logistics - Packaging

In all exhibitions, damaged are caused by insufficient packaging.
Artists are responsible for appropriate packaging. Indications for making good crates are given below.

No screws or nails are allowed, they require a long time during packing/unpacking and can damage the package on the long run. Pieces which don't meet these criteria will not be selected.

Use rapid fasteners. They must not prevent stacking of crates.

The crate must be light but compatible with what is inside.
Plywood is recommended (10 or 15mm. chipboard, OSB is not allowed). Handles must be cut in the sides (no metallic handles).

Pieces must be held with tabs and foam (polyurethan) or similar materials. No paper, chips, towels.

The case must be square or rectangular, and oversized for very small pieces.

Indicate opening and packing/unpacking instructions on the cover or front side.

Once the package is open, one must be able to easily find instructions about unpacking and installation under the cover, through description, drawings, etc....

The name of the artist must be written on the top.

Inscriptions in French HAUT (top) - BAS  (Bottom) - FRAGILE - must be written on the case, with artist name and piece title.
the total weight must also be indicated

    Only pieces which meet these criteria will be accepted during the jury.
