All this took place in one small and enchanting village, which you could stroll from one end to another in 10 minutes. Everything was easily accessible, and although the influx of 400 visitors - half of whom had partners and all of whom had accommodation in the surrounding area - must have caused problems for the locals, I heard no complaints. Such good
feeling was partly down to the high regard in which Jean-François Escoulen is held in his home village, and also the fact that much of the organizing was done done by 140 local volunteers. |
